Persian American Professionals

Fellow Iranians

The Persian American Professionals community remains steadfast in its mission to celebrate, empower, and connect Persian professionals across the United States. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3), nonreligious, and nonpolitical organization, we bring together Iranian and Persian American leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, and students to honor our shared history while building a stronger professional future through networking, and cultural programming.

Today, however, our hearts are with the people of Iran.
Iranians inside Iran are courageously striving for freedom, dignity, and fundamental human rights. We stand in solidarity with them and unequivocally condemn violence, repression, censorship, and the ongoing suffering inflicted upon innocent civilians. We echo the global call for justice, equality, and respect for human life.

We also recognize the deep emotional toll this moment has had on our community. Many are carrying the pain of witnessing events unfold from afar while fearing for the safety of family, friends, and colleagues. We extend our deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones and hold space for all who are enduring fear, uncertainty, and displacement.

As we collectively mourn and stand in solidarity with the people of Iran, there is no culturally appropriate way to hold in-person gatherings or celebrations of this scale or nature. For this reason, all upcoming Nowruz and cultural events are canceled until further notice.
At the same time, we believe it is important to acknowledge the profound meaning of Nowruz. As the most significant Iranian cultural celebration, Nowruz has long united millions across generations, geographies, faiths, and backgrounds. Rooted in renewal, continuity, and collective belonging, it serves as a shared cultural and spiritual anchor. In times of profound hardship, honoring our ancient traditions—whether quietly, personally, or symbolically—remains a powerful way to stay connected to one another and to our shared humanity.

Long live Iran and the Iranian people.
